More ‘Traffik Free’ Chocolate Coming Your Way

Green & Black’s is the first subsidiary of a major chocolate company to commit to Fair Trade certification in the U.S.! This great news means more “traffik free” chocolate for you and me. The great thing is Americans don’t have to fly to the UK to get it! If we want more companies to commit to similar actions we need to show our appreciation to companies like Green & Black’s who are helping end the worst forms of child labor in the cocoa industry. I, , thank Green & Black’s for committing to source ‘traffik free’ cocoa through Fair Trade certification of it’s entire chocolate line in 2010. This is great news! I will be able to choose from all lines of Green & Black’s chocolate with the confidence that no child or forced labor was used in the process. I’m also excited for the farmers who will benefit from higher wages and the investment in community development projects such as helping children go to school instead of work.
