NW Pasadena

Pasadena is both blessed by wealth and cursed by poverty. The community of Villa Park in North West Pasadena has not experienced the economic prosperity evident in neighboring communities. Our work includes:

"Catch Up" Computer Lab

We offer "catch up education" to first through fifth grade students who have fallen behind in school in conjunction with NW Neighbors Ready-to-Read program. Each student is guided through "catch up" education software by a caring tutor.

Summer Program

We provide computer education to elementary level students in conjunction with Lake Avenue Church’s summer program.

It’s an exciting, fun-filled, learning environment. 30 kids 15 computers and lots of fun!

Oasis USA works with NW Neighbors and Lake Avenue Foundation to provide this excellent opportunity for elementary students.

You can invest in a student by volunteering or by funding a place.

 We are looking for volunteers to guide students through a computer learning software weekdays Monday through Thursday from 9 Am – Noon. Contact info@oasisusa.org.

No time to volunteer, no problem you can still make a difference by participating in “fund a place” for the Oasis Summer Catch Up portion of the program. $40 provides a seat in the dynamic computer lab for the entire program. That’s less than you’ll spend on coffee!

Needs Assessment
